Hurd Insurance Agency, LLC. was founded by Barry Hurd and Daniel Carter Hurd as an independent insurance agency. As independents vs direct writers of insurance, it gives us the ability to represent many of the country's top rated insurance providers. Our agency was founded in May of 2016 after leaving other concerns and wanting to get back to offering more personalized service to our clients. We are a full service insurance agency offering all lines of insurance to individuals and businesses, with a combined experience of 38+ years in the insurance industry. We offer proven expertise to our clients with personalized insurance solutions and customer service for coastal exposures.

Hurd Insurance Agency and staff are members of the IIAB of South Carolina, PILBA, Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce, and Pawleys Island Rotary Club allowing us to stay better aware of our community's needs and to play a part in the welfare of our community.
